Just Jared: How did you guys get into acting?

Max Carver: Charlie went to Interlochen, which is an arts boarding school, and studied theater there. I always messed around with improv and writing, but I never really considered myself an actor. Charlie was 18 when he was spotted on the street one day shopping.

Charlie Carver: We both moved [to L.A.] to go to college, without really intending to go to the same school but we both went to USC. It was one of those things you hear about. I was buying a pair of shoes, this guy came up to me and said, “You look like a young Matt Damon. Do you have representation? Are you an actor?” I said, “Well, yeah, I like to think so.” So I took his card and I totally didn’t think it was going to be anything and looked the guy up on IMDB. It was a very good agency and the rest is history. Booked our first job two weeks later – Desperate Housewives.

Max: Yeah, it was pretty crazy. Charlie told ‘em that he had a twin brother, and I was actually working in Washington, D.C. with my dad at the NIH – the National Institutes of Health. I sent in a tape online and they told me I had to get a flight out the next day because we had an 8am meeting at Universal Studios. That was our first job, and I had no idea what I was doing. I’m very glad that it happened.

JJ: What would be doing if you weren’t actors?

Max: I would have found myself working in entertainment one way or another. I’ve always loved film and television, and I’ve always wanted to write, produce, maybe ultimately direct. But secretly I wanted to act. Even if I wasn’t acting, I know I’d still be involved.

Charlie: I think I would have gone to art school. I think that’s what my plan would have been, making stuff.

JJ: How far along are you in filming Teen Wolf?

Charlie: We are on the last episode of season 3B, episode 24. We shoot Monday, and then that’s a wrap. (laughs) That’s definitely a wrap. Teen Wolf has been amazing. It’s been a lot of fun. The cast and crew there, they’re all homies at this point. We just love hanging out, so work’s always a great time.

JJ: What are you most excited about season 3B?

Charlie: When we found out about what the concept was, every season has its own mythology going, and at first it sounded so different than anything had been done before. I didn’t know how it would turn out. But now, seeing a lot of what we shot, in the editing room and seeing kind of more put together pieces, it looks so good. And it’s so much darker than every other season. It really focuses on the characters and their psychological state, as opposed to action or the circumstances around them.

Max: Well, it’s still Teen Wolf. I mean, shirtless guys, a lot of fighting, werewolves. But I think Charlie is spot on. It is psychological, and there’s a lot more horror when it becomes psychological. And the other thing for us, our characters in season 3A were looking to be in the pack and get what we want. In season 3B, we’re really looking for redemption on some level and getting in with Scott and the rest of the Beacon Hills crew. We ultimately get the redemption we were looking for.

JJ: Do you have a favorite prop on set?

Max: Charlie’s favorite prop, (laughs), Charlie’s favorite prop is hands down mouth blood.

Charlie: I love me my mouth blood! It tastes like high fructose corn syrup. It’s like molasses.

Max: It has a really thick viscosity… If you have a mouth full of it and you know you have to spit it out or something, it’s kind of fun because you just get to go over the top.

I like it when they shoot paintball guns with squibs in them. They’re these explosive dust balls. I’ve only had little fragments of it hit me. They’re generally not supposed to hit people. It would hurt a lot! The guys who shoot them are really cool and they said if they ever hit us, we can get the gun and shoot them back.

JJ: You guys have a lot of early morning/late night shoots. Do you have a regimen of how to stay awake or to wake up?

Max: I feel like we’re firefighters except we don’t necessarily help a lot of people. I would love to help people, for the record. (laughs) We’re kind of on call. It’s just how that show works. We shoot all over the place.

Charlie: Our older brother is a firefighter, so that’s probably why Max told you that. I think…

Max: Wait, hold on. The main thing is, we’re shooting half of a movie every week. And by half of a movie, we’re shooting on location, on set, night, day, all kinds of crazy stuff. It’s amazing what we pull off in a short span of time.

Charlie: During the week, we call ‘em school nights. If you have to be up early, I’m not going out. If we have to be up all night, I’m getting to bed early. The weekend is a different story, but we don’t have to go there. (laughs)

JJ: Describe your cast members in one word. Tyler Posey.

Max: Animated.

JJ: Do you keep in touch with anyone from the Desperate Housewives cast?

Max: I see Shawn Pyfrom around every now and then, and I text Felicity [Huffman] our mama, every once in a while. Doug Savant always reaches out and always has nice things to say. They were a great cast so it’s always wonderful to hear from them.

Charlie: And then we keep running into our little brother, Joshua [Logan Moore], and he’s taller than us now.

Max: He’s a total hunk at this point.

JJ: Do you have a specific fond memory from that experience?

Charlie: Gosh, I think the best part of that experience was showing up on the Universal back lot, where all the fake skyscrapers and building fronts are. Every day, we’d go, “Wow, this is real. Here I am, and this is Hollywood.”

Max: We used to break into the theme park every day. I must have gone on Jurassic Park 110 times. (laughs)

JJ: And you guys have a new project, an HBO series, The Leftovers. Can you describe your characters?

Charlie: We are brothers who are a little bit stoners, just really sweet. Really want to take care of everybody and know they’re going to be okay.

Max: We maintain our innocence in the face of some pretty drastic stuff going on. I’d say we keep it pretty light.

JJ: Your characters are friends with Justin Theroux‘s daughter?

Charlie: Mm-hmm. Yeah, played by Margaret Qualley, who is awesome. Just you wait.

JJ: You’ve shot just the pilot? Have you seen it?

Max: Yeah, we can’t talk about it. But I loved it. It will leave you speechless.

JJ: Is it dark?

Charlie: It’s very dark.

Max: Well, I wouldn’t say it’s very dark. We shouldn’t say that.

Charlie: It’s very rich.

Max: Just watch it!

JJ: Could you tell us about your recent camping trip [with Holland Roden, Daniel Sharman and Julian Morris]?

Charlie: Our camping trip was awesome. I think it was nine of us.. It started as a text chain, like, “Oh let’s go camping.” And you know, you figure it’s going to fall through or somebody’s not going to show up. Everybody showed up, and we were there for two days.

Max: The coolest part about it is, we went up there, and there was no cell phone reception, and it was just a big camp fire, an amazing landscape. You were, forced, in the best way possible, to just hang out, be with your friends, and be present. And in a spectacular setting. Cold as balls though. (laughs)

JJ: Were there any fun games you guys played, any pranks?

Max: Oh yeah, we played late night capture the flag, which got a little rowdy. We had some wrestling matches.

Charlie: We actually got into a lot of trouble on Teen Wolf coming back from the camping trip because, like Max was saying, we started throwing down bets on wrestling matches and everybody showed up back to work with huge scratches on their backs from throwing each other down on the rocks.

JJ: Random… do you have a good Paris stories to tell?

Charlie: I do have a good Paris story! I have a friend whose dad works for an airline, so I used to get really cheap tickets. I was in college and I don’t know how I would pull it off, but sometimes I would just go for the weekend. When I was 18, I saved up my money and was supposed to go backpacking around Europe but I ended up just hanging out in Paris. Loved it. But I showed up in Paris one time, all of my plans fell through, I didn’t have anywhere to stay. I called home like, “Where do I go?” And they said you know, “We’ve got stuff going on, you’ll find one, don’t worry about it.”

And here I was in this foreign country with all of my luggage, I thought, crap, I’m totally screwed. And this kid comes up to me with a ring on his finger and asks, “Will you buy this?” in French, and I’m like, “Not right now man, I’m sorry.” He kept pushing the ring in my face, and I went, “Oh my god, this is a pickpocket.” So I pull out my wallet, and am going to grab a Euro coin to give to him, and he punches my arm so I drop my wallet. He grabs it and starts running away. Mind you, I had just been on the verge of just tears, totally lost. I chased him down, and this was on the Champ de Mars, in front of the Eiffel Tower, I grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and threw him down on the gravel. I got over him and said, in perfect French, I don’t know how, “This is not the day to mess with me mother–.”

So I got my wallet back and then as I was walking away, I grabbed the ring off of his finger that he was going to sell me, and I said, “This is mine,” and walked back to my bags. I don’t know how those didn’t get stolen too, but I walked back to my bags and everything was there and I just kind of took a deep breath and went, “I’m gonna be fine, I’m staying in Paris.” I just figured out, and I had some of the best three weeks of my life right after.

JJ: Do you have a good story about Cougar Monthly?

Max: (laughs) We have a wonderful hair stylist on set, and I’m a sucker for redheads, and she is just a fantastic lady. So every now and then we like to do a little photo series together. We call it Cougar Monthly. Check it out.

JJ: Which of you was potty-trained first?

Charlie: Which of us was potty-trained first? That’s a very good question ’cause sometimes if I have too much coffee on an empty stomach….

Max: No, no, no, no. I’ll stop you there. (both laugh)

JJ: Do you have any funny twin stories you could share?

Max: In sixth grade, we switched places for a whole day which worked out beautifully. We took each others tests, did reasonably well on them, changed clothes, all that. It was perfect until band class, where we had to switch instruments. Charlie was a trombone player, a trombonist, by force. And I was a bass clarinetist. And well, I got away with playing the trombone, it was pretty easy. But Mr. Schleppy was very distressed to find out that we had switched places and that he lost his star bass clarinet player. So we got in some serious trouble for that one. (laughs)

Charlie: We got in serious trouble.

Max: Yeah, I think we got suspended.

Charlie: Max and I both have a pretty interesting collection of friends and I don’t know all of his friends, and he doesn’t know all of mine. When somebody at a gas station puts you in a headlock, you don’t assume that it’s going to be anything good. So I probably, I scream all the time. I’ll just have like a stranger smack me on the butt, or put me in a headlock and I’ll throw up my wallet in the air.

Max: I think those might be strangers. (both laugh) I don’t know if my friends have ever slapped my butt. I guess I missed out.

JJ: What’s the last movie you saw?

Max: saw a TV show that’s fantastic, called Utopia. I don’t know if it’s out yet. Probably shouldn’t talk about it, but it was amazing. It’s a British show.

Charlie: I had a friend in Frances Ha, with Greta Gerwig. I didn’t think I would like it just because it’s black and white but it was wonderful. I really, really recommend seeing that movie.

JJ: Do you have a favorite TV show?

Max: I’m always three years behind the mark. So I’ll get really obsessed and I’ll watch a series all the way through in a week when I’m sick or something. Hardcore binge watching. I watched Sons of Anarchy all the way, and then Walking Dead. And right now, again, that show Utopia. I’m about to binge hardcore.

Charlie: I’ve got to go with Game of Thrones. Huuuge throner for that show.

JJ: Favorite food?

Max: Man, I love a good cheeseburger. I should probably give you some healthy options. Kale, yeah, mm kale. (laughs)

JJ: Where do you get your best cheeseburger from?

Charlie: Father’s Office.

Max: Father’s Office is pretty good, but there’s this taco stand in Silver Lake, they make some hardcore burritos that are really good. And a kale caeser salad. There’s the healthy option for you.

Charlie: My favorite food… I like any seafood. Yep, put a fish on my plate.

JJ: Max, how many tattoos do you have?

Max: Oh man, for all you youngsters out there, if you get one, it’s kind of game over. At this point, I have five tattoos. And I would like to stop.

JJ: Do you have a most memorable tattoo?

Max: They’re all memorable. This one is a rocket ship, and my dad’s nickname is The Rocket.

JJ: How did he get that nickname?

Max: My dad actually was horrible at hockey. He was in medical school in the Northeast and he had a number of All-American hockey players on the medical school team. But he was kind of the ringer and he was so bad that they would send him out on the ice and he’d get hit, and as a result, they could start a fight with the other team. So he was one of their favorite team members ’cause he would initiate all the fights.

Charlie: And they called him Rocket because he couldn’t stop.

Max: No, they called him Rocket because my dad’s from Detroit, and the Detroit Red Wings had a famous player whose name I should totally remember but forget at the moment, who was nicknamed The Rocket.

JJ: Charlie, how many tattoos do you have?

Charlie: Three.

JJ: And your most memorable one?

Charlie: I have a rocket.

JJ: Is it in the same place?

Charlie: No, mine’s on the inside of my bicep. Max’s is on the outside.

JJ: I heard you have good taste in art?

Charlie: I’d like to think so, yeah. I guess I’ve always been interested in it. It’s been cool, being in LA, a lot of interesting stuff is being made here and I have been lucky enough to make friends with some artists. So I’ll go check out their studio, help them out, get like a friend discount on a piece or something. Looking back, we’ve been here for seven years now, and I’ve actually got quite a big collection going.

Max: But our apartment looks nice. It’s going to be bad when you move out. I like art as well, but Charlie’s always had an eye for it.

JJ: Do you have a favorite artist at the moment?

Charlie: No, not anybody that I’d like to name right off the bat. I try to stay away from anything that’s really hyped, name wise, because I feel like then you don’t see it. There’s nothing more frustrating to me than walking into somewhere and going, “I don’t get it. I don’t really like it. Like aesthetically, I don’t see what’s so special about it.” And then seeing a price tag for sixty thousand dollars. I feel like that has less to do with what’s in front of you. I like kind of experimental stuff.

Max: Yeah, you go off the content. I don’t know, I’m the same way. I like to find out after, more about the artist. What was that show at the LACMA, Terence… The light one.

Charlie: Oh, James Turrell.

Max: James Turrell. Yeah, that was a cool show.

Charlie: Llyn Foulkes. He’s a cool LA artist.

JJ: Favorite music? What are you listening to now?

Max: The best music to dance to is 50s classics. We grew up with this girl, old family friends, they have a band called Group Love, which is now really taking off. I love their music. They’re so much fun to see live.

Charlie: They’re so good live. And then I don’t know why, but I never used to like electronic music but I’ve just been…

Max: Yeah, he’s been binging on electronic music.

Charlie: Yeah, but not like EDM dance, but.

Charlie: Sohn, I saw them in concert here and that was great. Really, really, really good show. It’s sort of electronic. Their first album is very chill and introspective, but then their new stuff is got a little more funk to it, it’s really good.

JJ: All the fans want me to ask, are you guys single?

Max: Not answering that question.

Charlie: YES! Forever…

Just Jared : Comment avez-vous attérit dans le métier d'acteur?

C'était une très bonne agence . On a eu notre premier travail deux semaines plus tard avec Desperate Housewives .

Max : Oui, c'était assez fou. Charlie leur a dit qu'il avait un frère jumeau , et je travaillais à l'époque à Washington avec mon père au NIH - National Institutes of Health. J'ai envoyé une vidéo en ligne et ils m'ont dit que je devais prendre un vol le lendemain parce que nous avions une réunion à 8 heures du matin aux studios Universal . C'était notre premier travail , et je n'avais aucune idée de ce que je faisais. Je suis très heureux que ce soit arrivé .

JJ : Que feriez vous si vous n'étiez pas des acteurs ?

Max : J'aurais trouvé un travail dans le divertissement d'une façon ou d'une autre . J'ai toujours aimé le cinéma et la télévision , et j'ai toujours voulu écrire , produire , peut-être en fin de compte diriger .même Mais secrètement je voulais devenir acteur. Même si je ne jouais pas , je sais que je serais toujours impliqué dans ça .

Charlie : Je pense que je serais allé à l'école d'art . Je pense que ça aurait été mon plan .

JJ : Où en êtes- vous dans le tournage de Teen Wolf ?

Charlie : Nous sommes dans le dernier épisode de la saison 3B , épisode 24 . Nous tournons lundi, et après c'est dans la boîte. (rires ) C'est vraiment fini. Teen Wolf a été incroyable . Beaucoup de plaisir . Les acteurs et l' équipe là-bas, ils sont tous des potes. Nous aimons tout simplement traîner avec eux , donc le travail c'est toujours un grand moment .

JJ : Qu'est ce qui vous donne le plus hâte dans la saison 3B ?

Charlie : Quand nous avons découvert ce que le concept était de cette saison , chaque saison a sa propre mythologie, et au début, ça semblait si différent de tout ce qui avait été fait avant . Je ne savais pas comment cela se passerait . Mais maintenant , car nous avons tourné , dans la salle de montage , on voit ensemble les morceaux , ça semble tellement bien. Et c'est tellement plus sombre que tous les autres saisons . Elle se concentre vraiment sur ​​les personnages et leur état psychologique , par opposition à l'action ou les circonstances qui les entourent .

Max : Eh bien, c'est encore Teen Wolf . Je veux dire , des gars torse nu , beaucoup de combats , des loups-garous . Mais je pense que Charlie a raison . C'est psychologique , et il y a beaucoup plus d'horreur quand ça devient psychologique . Et l'autre chose pour nous , nos personnages dans la saison 3A voulaient être les plus forts et voulaient obtenir ce qu'ils voulaient. En saison 3B , nous cherchons vraiment un rachat à un certain niveau et on le veut auprès de Scott et du reste de l'équipde de Beacon Hills . Nous obtenons finalement la rédemption que nous recherchions .

JJ : Avez-vous un accessoire favori sur le plateau?

Max : Celui de Charlie , (rires ) est de loin de mettre ses mains sur sa bouche en sang .

Charlie : J'aime ma bouche en sang ! Iça sent comme le sirop de maïs à haute teneur en fructose . C'est comme de la mélasse .

Max : Il a une viscosité très épaisse ... Si vous avez la bouche pleine et que vous devez cracher , c'est assez amusant parce que vous devez le faire plus haut .

J'aime bien quand ils tirent avec des pistolets de paintball avec des pétards.Ce sont ces boules de poussière explosive . J'en ai eu quelques petits fragments. Ils ne sont généralement pas censés frapper les gens . ça serait très mal ! Les gars qui les tirent sont vraiment cool et ils ont dit que si jamais ils nous touchent , nous pouvons prendre l' arme et leur tirer dessus.

JJ : Vous vous levez tôt le matin et vous couchez tard la nuit . Avez-vous un régime pour rester éveillé ou pour vous se réveiller ?

Max : C'est comme si on était des pompiers , sauf qu'on aide pas nécessairement beaucoup de gens . J'aimerais aider les gens, pour le tournage. ( rires ) Nous sommes en quelque sorte à l'appel . C'est juste la façon dont fonctionne cette série. Nous tournons un peu partout .

Charlie : Notre frère est pompier , de sorte que c'est probablement la raison pour laquelle Max vous a dit ça . Je pense ...

Max : Attendez , attendez. Le truc c'est que, nous tournions la moitié d'un film chaque semaine . Et dans la moitié d'un film , nous tournons sur place , sur le plateau, la nuit, le jour, toutes sortes de choses folles . C'est incroyable ce qu'on tourne en un laps de temps aussi court .

Charlie : Au cours de la semaine ,nous les appelons "nuits à l'école ". Si je dois me lever tôt , je ne sors pas . Si nous devons être debout toute la nuit , je me couche tôt . Le week-end ,c'est une autre histoire , mais nous n'avons pas à y aller . (rires )

Max : Je vois Shawn Pyfrom environ chaque maintenant et puis , j'envoie des messages à Felicity [ Huffman ] notre maman . Doug Savant est toujours dehors et a de belles choses à dire  . c'était un super casting donc c'est toujours merveilleux d'avoir de leurs nouvelles.

Charlie : Et puis nous continuons à courir avec notre petit frère , Joshua [ Logan Moore ] , et il est plus grand que nous.

Max : C'est un morceau à ce stade .

JJ : Avez-vous un bon souvenir de cette expérience spécifique ?

Charlie : Mon Dieu, je pense que la meilleure partie de cette expérience c'était les studios d'Universal , avec tous les faux gratte-ciel et façades  . Chaque jour , on se disait, " Wow, c'est réel . Je suis là, et c'est Hollywood . "

Max : On utilisait un parc à thème chaque jour . J'ai du allé dans celui de Jurassic Park 110 fois . (rires )

JJ : Vous avez un nouveau projet , une série pour HBO . Pouvez-vous décrire vos personnages ?

Charlie : Nous sommes frères et vraiment sympa . On a vraiment envie de prendre soin de tout le monde .

Max : Nous maintenons notre innocence face à des trucs assez drastique. Je dirais que nous gardons un air assez léger .

JJ : Vos personnages sont amis avec la fille de Justin Theroux ?

JJ : Vous avez tourné juste le pilote ? l'Avez-vous vu?

Max : Ouais, on ne peut pas en parler. Mais j'ai adoré. Il vous laissera sans voix .

JJ : Est-il noir?

Charlie : C'est très sombre .

Max : Eh bien, je ne dirais pas que c'est très sombre . Nous ne devrions pas dire que ...

Charlie : C'est très riche .

Max : Il suffit de regarder!

JJ : Pourriez-vous nous parler de votre récent voyage [ avec Holland Roden , Daniel Sharman et Julian Morris ] ?

Charlie : Notre voyage était génial . Je pense que c'était nouveau pour beaucoup d'entre nous .. ça a commencé avec des messages, , " Oh si on partait au camping. " Et vous savez , vous comprenez que quelqu'un ne vienne pas . Tout le monde y est allé pour deux jours.

Max : Le plus cool dans tout ça , c'est que nous sommes allés là-bas , et il n'y avait pas de réception pour le téléphone portable , et y'avait un grand feu de camp , un paysage étonnant . Vous étiez forcés, de la meilleure façon possible , de vous détendre , d'être avec vos amis , et d'être présent . Et dans un cadre spectaculaire .

JJ : Avez vous joué à des jeux amusants ?

Max : Oh oui , nous avons joué à attrapé un drapeau . Nous avons fait quelques matchs de catch .

Charlie : Nous avons eu un tas d'ennuis pour Teen Wolf en revenant du voyage, comme Max l'a dit, nous avons fait des matchs de catch et tout le monde est arrivé au travail avec d'énormes griffures dans le dos .

JJ : au hasard ... vous avez une bonne histoire à raconter sur Paris ?

Charlie : J'ai une bonne histoire de Paris ! J'ai un ami dont le père travaille pour une compagnie aérienne , alors j'ai obtenu des billets vraiment bon marché . J'étais à la fac et je ne savais pas comment le retirer , mais , je voulais juste y aller pour le week-end . Quand j'ai eu 18 ans , j'ai économisé mon argent et j'étais censé faire une randonnée à travers l'Europe , mais j'ai fini par traîner à Paris . J'ai adoré . Mais je me suis allé à Paris une fois , tous mes plans sont tombés à l'eau, et j'avais nulle part où rester . J'ai appelé la maison et je leur ai dit "Où dois-je aller ? " Et ils ont dit "Nous avons des choses en cours, tu trouveras un endroit, ne t'inquiétes pas à ce sujet . "

J'étais là ,dans ce pays étranger avec tous mes bagages , je pensais , merde , j'ai totalement merdé. Et un enfant est venu vers moi en me demandant "Est-ce que tu veux me l'acheter" ? " En français , et je lui ai dit, " Pas maintenant , je suis désolé . " Il a continué , et je suis parti, " Oh mon dieu , c'était un pickpocket . " Alors jai sorti mon portefeuille , et je lui ai donné une pièce d'un euro. Il l'attrapé et a commencé à fuir . Rappelez-vous, j'étais sur le point de pleurer, j'étais totalement perdu . Je l'ai chassé , et c'était sur ​​le Champ de Mars , au pied de la Tour Eiffel , je l'ai attrapé par la peau du cou et l'ai jeté sur le gravier . Je lui ais dit , dans un français parfait , je ne sais pas comment , " Ce n'est pas le jour pour jouer avec moi . "

Alors, j'ai récupéré mon portefeuille et puis je me suis éloigné , j'ai pris la bague qu'il allait me vendre , et j'ai dit: « Ceci est à moi ». Je ne sais pas comment ils n'avaient pas volés mes bagages aussi, mais je suis revenu et tout était là .J'ai pris une profonde inspiration et je me suis dit " Je vais bien, je vais rester dans Paris . " J'ai juste compris , et j'ai passé les trois meilleures semaines de ma vie .

JJ : Avez-vous des histoires drôles de jumeaux que vous pourriez partager ?

Max : En sixième année , on a échangé de place pendant toute une journée et ça a marché magnifiquement . On a passé les tests de l'autre, ,on a changé de vêtements , tout ça. c'était parfait jusqu'à la classe musique, où nous avons dû changer d'instrument . Charlie jouait du trombone. Et j'étais un clarinettiste . Et bien , je suis loin de jouer du trombone  . Mais M. Schleppy était très affligé de constater que nous avions changé de place . Donc, nous avons eu quelques ennuis sérieux. (rires )

Charlie : Nous avons eu de sérieux ennuis .

Max : Oui, je crois qu'on a été suspendus .

Charlie : Max et moi avons une collection très intéressante d'amis et je ne connais pas tous ses amis , et il ne connait pas tous les miens. Quand quelqu'un à une station d'essence vous prend la  tête , vous ne supposez pas que ça va être quelque chose de bon . Donc, je doute , je crie tout le temps .

Max : Je pense que ce pourrait être des étrangers . ( Rires ) Je ne sais pas si mes amis ont déjà giflé  mes fesses. Je suppose que je l'ai raté .

JJ : Quel est le dernier film que vous avez vu ?

Max : Une série qui est fantastique , appelée Utopia . Je ne sais pas si c'est encore sortie . Je ne devrais probablement pas en parler , mais c'était incroyable. C'est une série britannique .

Charlie : J'ai un ami dans Frances Ha , avec Greta Gerwig . Je ne pense pas que j'aime juste parce que c'est en noir et blanc, mais c'était merveilleux . Je le recommande vraiment, vraiment il faut voir ce film.

JJ : Avez-vous une série préférée ?

Max : Je suis toujours retard de trois ans . Donc, je vais vraiment être obsédé et je vais regarder une série tout au long d'une semaine quand je suis malade ou quelque chose .J'ai regardé Sons of Anarchy , puis Walking Dead . Et maintenant , Utopia . Je suis sur le point de me gaver.

Charlie : Je dois dire Game of Thrones . J'adorrreee cette série.

JJ : Plat préféré ?

Max : un bon cheeseburger . Je devrais probablement vous donner quelques options saines . du chou frisé mm . (rires )

JJ : Où trouvez-vous votre meilleur cheeseburger ?

Charlie : Dans le bureau de mon père .

Max : Oui il est très bon , mais il y a ce magasin de taco à Silver Lake , ils font des burritos  qui sont vraiment bons . Et une salade de chou frisé . Il ya l'option saine pour vous.

Charlie : Ma nourriture préférée ... J'aime tout de fruits de mer . Yep , mettre un poisson dans mon assiette .

JJ : Max , combien de tatouages ​​avez-vous?

Max : Oh , pour vous tous les jeunes , si vous en faites un, c'est game over. À ce stade, j'ai cinq tatouages ​​. Et je voudrais arrêter .

JJ : Avez-vous un tatouage mémorable ?

Max : Ils sont tous mémorable . Celui-ci est une fusée , et le surnom de mon père est The Rocket .

JJ : Pourquoi ce surnom ?

Max : Mon père était réellement horrible au hockey. Il était dans l'école de médecine dans le Nord . Mais il était si mauvais qu'ils l' ont envoyé sur la glace et il s'est fait frappé , et, par conséquent , il a commencé à se battre avec l'autre équipe .

Charlie : Et ils l'appelaient Rocket parce qu'il ne pouvait pas s'arrêter .

Max : Non, ils l'appelaient Rocket parce que mon papa est de Detroit , et les Red Wings de Detroit ont eu un célèbre joueur dont le nom je dois absolument le retenir, mais j'ai oublié , qui a été surnommé Le Rocket .

Max : Mais notre appartement est joli . Ça va être mauvais lorsque qu'on va déménager . J'aime l'art aussi , mais Charlie a toujours eu l'oeil.

Charlie : Non, personne que je voudrais nommer en premier. J'essaie de rester loin de tout ce qui est vraiment hype , parce . " Et puis voir un prix de soixante mille dollars  . J'aime  le genre de choses expérimentales .

Max : Le meilleur de la musique c'est des classiques des années 50 . Nous avons grandi avec de vieux amis de la famille , ils ont un groupe appelé Group love , qui est maintenant en plein essor . J'adore leur musique . Ils sont tellement bien en live .

Charlie : Ils sont si bon . Et puis, je ne sais pas pourquoi , mais je n'ai jamais  aimé la musique électronique, mais je viens de ...

Max : Oui, il a été indulgent  sur la musique électronique .

Charlie : Oui, mais pas EDM .

Charlie : Donc , je les ai vus en concert ici et c'était super. Vraiment , vraiment, vraiment . C'est une sorte d' électronique . Leur premier album est très froid et introspectif , mais leur nouveau truc est devenu un peu plus funk , c'est vraiment bon .
